For a couple of years now, I was yearning for a pair of combat boots. So I finally bit the bullet and bought some. An expensive purchase for me, yes, but totally worth it. (Well, I did have help from an uncle. He gave me a gift card, which I put towards the boots.) What I love about these ones, is there everything I ever wanted in a combat boot. They are classic, clean and have a nice feminine touch to them.

December 2019 Favorites!

Hey everyone. Hope you enjoy this blog entry. ^_^

Today I'm gonna discuss December favorites. (Another well overdue post. Sue me. Between writer's block, and real-life obstacles it's been tough to get much of anything done. One of those things being a dead laptop. Now I have to hold off on getting a camera and buy one of those instead. Talk about frustrating.) In the future, I'm gonna post these at the start of each month. To avoid repeats I'll pick a second or third fave if it's necessary.

 1. Favorite Bag- Burgundy Purse

Me and this purse go way back. I've had it in my possession for 4, 5 years now. That's a long time for an accessory. Its timeless design makes for a great everyday bag. 

2. Favorite Footwear- Burgundy Boots

These boots were an indirect gift from Grandma Marcia. A lovely lady, who is sadly no longer among the living. I will treasure these always. By indirect gift I mean they were something I bought with money she gave me. They were purchased at Kmart, which is sadly gone too. 

3. Favorite Top- Green Sweater

Me and this sweater have no great history, but that's ok. I bought it in December, with Christmas in mind. So far it has served me well. Being a basic and all. 

4. Favorite Bottom- Leather Skirt

Maybe I'm biased (cause I just got it) or it's just that lovely. I find you gotta be picky when it comes to leather bottoms. More often than not, they're pretty indecent. 

5. Favorite Game- Dark Souls

Over the past couple of months, I got surprisingly good at this game. I can now block, lock-on and attack enemies easily. They usually go down after one, or two hits at most.

Life Updates 4- Family Outing!

Hey everyone. Hope you enjoy this blog entry. ^_^

In case you haven't noticed, I'm the typical introvert who doesn't get out much, but when I do it's a huge deal. It's such a huge deal that I feel the need to post about it. I believe this outing occurred on the 23erd of November, which is a Saturday. (My apologies for being a bit behind. Trying my best to catch up. Can't succeed as a blogger otherwise. 😅)

After a short-lived discussion, my family and I decided we were gonna grab a bite to eat at Chilies. (If you're out of the loop it's a bar & grill chain. That offers burgers, tacos and whatnot.) I, of course, ordered a mushroom swiss burger. Hence the magnificent beast above, or below if you prefer. It truly is a sight to see. It is an even more magnificent thing to taste. 😛

What are you waiting for? Order one, I know you want it. Jokes aside, we hit up Walmart afterwards. I drooled over things I couldn't afford, while everyone else grocery shopped like responsible adults. What can I say? I'm the young, fun one, who needs to become rich somehow.

My outfit of the day was nothing special. Just something I threw together last minute.

These boots are great if you're on a budget. They look cute and don't break the bank. Just don't expect them to stand the test of time. They are what they are inexpensive boots. Now, I can't say for sure how long they'll last. I've had mine for a couple of years, but I only wore them like 10 times. That's not much to go on. On the plus side, they still look good as new. As they should. Had they disintegrated upon contact I'd be fuming. 😛

From what I can gather they are pretty much true to size. I'm somewhere between an 8.5 and a 9. I went with a 9 to be safe. The plan worked like a charm. 😁
